This time, the fight for the World Cup kickboxing took place at the beginning of June in the Italian town of Rimini. Wojtek Niedzielski from Gdańsk Fosfory could not be there. For the first time he started in weight up to 69 kg in a new formula - low kick light.
In the first fight he hit an Italian player. It ended in the first round due to the crushing advantage of our player. In the second round he faced his compatriot - Tomasz Bałdyga. Extremely fierce battle was settled on points in favor of Niedzielski.
In the final, Wojtek's opponent was an excellent Jordanian competitor. The result of this duel weighed literally to the last seconds. And this time the judges awarded Wojtek Niedzielski with points. Our player returned to Poland with another World Cup. As Niedzielski noted in an interview with us, special thanks are given to the sponsor, that is Grupa Azoty "Fosfory" Sp z oo, and to the trainers: Tomasz Biernacki and Rafał Kałużny.
